About Zingle

A simpler random video chat for adults

Learn how Zingle works, what its safety controls can and cannot do, and how we maintain our random video chat guides.

Zingle is a browser-based service for one-to-one random video conversations. It is designed for adults aged 18 and older and does not require an account or public profile before chatting.

How a Chat Starts

When you choose to start, Zingle asks the browser for camera and microphone permission and creates a temporary guest session. The service then places you in a queue and connects you with another available adult. Video and audio use browser WebRTC technology.

You remain in control of your browser permissions. You can mute audio, stop video, skip a match, or leave the page. Closing the chat also stops the local media session.

Safety Controls and Their Limits

Zingle provides visible skip, leave, and report controls. A user-initiated report can include the selected reason and available session context so repeated harmful behavior can be investigated. The service also uses rate limits, temporary or permanent access restrictions, and verification challenges to reduce abuse.

These controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every random conversation will be appropriate or positive. Do not share private personal information, open links from strangers, send money, or remain in a conversation that feels unsafe. Leave and report prohibited behavior promptly.

How Our Guides Are Produced

Zingle publishes practical guides based on the controls and risks present in browser-based random chat. Articles are written for the product they accompany, checked against the current interface and policies, and updated when those features or policies change. We avoid presenting general safety advice as a guarantee.

Product rules and data practices are documented separately in the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
